Jamaica is the quintessential tropical island with great beaches, abundant slow moving rivers, the famous Dunn's River Falls, gorgeous tropical sunsets and of course the world famous Jamaican hospitality........ "Lets Get Together and Feel Alright" - Bob Marley.  
Another popular destination with Honeymooners and those planning a destination wedding is Costa Rica.   Located in Central America, Costa Rica has a coastline on both the Caribbean side and Pacific side.  The nicer beaches are found on the Pacific side as are several great resort areas.   Additionally Costa Rica boasts a tropical rain forest with many hiking trails, zip lining experiences through a lush canopy, biking down a very long mountain road,  as well as exploring less traveled areas.  An abundance of wildlife and exotic plants are characteristic of this welcoming nation.   Most impressive is the Arenal Volcano where you can travel fairly close to its fiery source; but be careful as it can become active!  FYI:  Costa Rica has on a percentage basis, more land set aside for ecology/nature than any other country on our planet.  Also, most excursions into Costa Rica's rain forest should be on established trails preferably with a guide as there are a heck of a lot of snakes in this country.
