“Better a witty fool, than a foolish wit.” William Shakespeare

The United Kingdom consists of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is special not only because Hazel was born and raised in England, but because we derive our language and much of our culture and heritage from the U.K. For being a geographically small country, the magic of the United Kingdom reaches far and wide. Americans visiting this glorious island nation fall in love with its historic villages and towns, the beauty of its green fields, its romantic castles, its stately mansions of the Victorian period, Gothic Cathedrals and public buildings, , quaint shops and pubs, and so much more.
A visit to London by all accounts is a wonderful whirlwind of impressive experiences that should include the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the West End, Soho district, double decker buses, and much more. By why stop there? As a native, Hazel can recommend destinations of interest from Ben Nevis in Northern Scotland to its extreme southern point - Land's End! (And do not forget the exotic isles of Guernsey, Wright and Scilly!) Remember, she lived there and can speak their language as well as ours! |
